Commercial Lighting Technician

Description

The Commercial Lighting Technician completes service calls at various commercial environments to provide repair, maintenance and installation while practicing compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Journeyman Electrician experience consisting of repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of commercial electrical components
• Independently work-off blueprints, sketches, or schematic drawings
• Remove and replace lighting tubes, bulbs and LED'S within a variety of interior and exterior electrical fixtures
• Proficiently run conduit in a commercial environment
• Skilled at terminating and pulling wires into control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, and/or switches
• Experienced with emergency generators and power distribution systems including but not limited to troubleshooting, testing, and repair is desired
• Knowledge and experience with refrigeration control wiring, Ansul Systems or HVAC motor control wiring is desired
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• 4 or more years of commercial electrical experience with competencies regarding refrigeration motor controls, HVAC motor controls, EMS, Ansul systems and generator experiences
• A valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check
• Available to work a Saturday or Sunday as part of your regular work schedule
• English language skills
• Cell phone literacy for the use of communication and mobile email
• Must be able to work according to safety guidelines, OSHA, and workplace policies
