About the role

POSITION TITLE: Chief of Staff

LOCATION: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is hybrid with 2-3 days onsite. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who We Are:
TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can see what’s happening in real patient populations—not guesses, not simulations.
Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.
We keep identifiable data where it belongs—inside more than 11,000+ clinical sites across 20+ countries—preserving security, provenance, and granularity. Our trusted partnerships with providers ensure high-fidelity data, and a properly governed linkage back to individual patients.
At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human health—with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.

Who We Are Looking For:

TriNetX is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted partner and operational right hand to the CEO. This is an executive-level role designed for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategic direction, organizational execution, and cross-functional influence. The Chief of Staff will amplify the CEO's effectiveness, drive enterprise-wide priorities to completion, and ensure that the most critical decisions, meetings, and initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum.

This individual will be deeply embedded in the leadership operating system of the company — shaping how the executive team communicates, aligns, and makes decisions — while also serving as a visible leader in their own right across the organization.
This role offers a rare opportunity to operate at the center of a high-growth, PE-backed company — with direct exposure to senior leadership across functions, meaningful engagement with Board members, and hands-on involvement in the company's most consequential strategic initiatives. For the right candidate, it is both a high-impact position in its own right and a strong platform for advancement into a senior operating or leadership role within the organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Executive Leadership & Decision Support

◦ Serve as a strategic proxy for the CEO in select meetings, representing the CEO's priorities and perspective with authority and discretion.

◦ Drive key decisions to closure across the extended leadership team, ensuring appropriate follow-through, accountability, and resolution of open issues.

◦ Anticipate organizational needs and surface critical information to the CEO in a timely, synthesized manner.

◦ Build trusted relationships across the executive and extended leadership teams to enable rapid alignment and remove friction from decision-making.

• Cross-Functional Change Leadership

◦ Steward complex, cross-functional change initiatives from inception through execution — identifying blockers, bridging organizational gaps, and stepping into leadership voids as needed.

◦ Partner with functional leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are properly resourced, sequenced, and tracked against defined outcomes.

◦ Serve as a connective tissue across business units, translating strategy into action and holding teams accountable to commitments.

• Board & Executive Meeting Operations

◦ Lead development of Board meeting agendas and own end-to-end preparation, including coordination with Board members, management of pre-read materials, and logistics.

◦ Manage the Master Corporate Calendar, establishing dates and setting agendas for key executive forums and company-wide events.

◦ Own preparation for Executive Committee (EC), Extended Executive Leadership Team (EELT), and All Hands meetings — including agenda development, content production, and presenter coordination.

◦ Ensure meeting outputs are documented, decisions are communicated, and action items are tracked to resolution.

What You Bring to TriNetX:

• MBA from a top-tier program (Harvard Business School, Wharton, or Stanford GSB strongly preferred).
• Foundational experience in finance, management consulting, or an equivalent analytically rigorous discipline.
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving complex decisions to resolution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Prior experience supporting or operating at the C-suite level, with a strong understanding of executive team dynamics
