Job Purpose

In this position, the Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager to provide HR support in the areas of payroll/time and attendance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, training & organizational development, compensation & benefits administration, headcount reporting, AAP and EEOC Compliance, communications, safety,  and other HR administration.
 
There will be exposure to the highest levels in the organization with an opportunity for future assignments and advancement. The successful candidates must have 2-3 years of Human Resources experience and looking for an opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills.
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide HR support for the Henderson, KY location by engaging in the following activities:
 
•    Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding data changes, talent management, compensation, policies, procedures, engagement events, and employee relations issues
•    Manage payroll and time and attendance tracking in eTime while continuously improving processes and implementing best practices
•    Coordinate and perform all onboarding duties for new employees 
•    System expert for SuccessFactors, Employee Central, SAP, HireRight, Guardian, SharePoint, payroll workflow and HRSS tracker
•    Support annual merit and AIP planning when needed
•    Support employee engagement survey and action planning initiatives
•    Support diversity initiatives and data reporting
•    Support performance management tracking- goal setting, and mid-year & year-end performance review support and calibration
•    Support talent management tracking through employee profiles, succession plans, discussions, and Talent Review processes
•    Training compliance and follow-up
•    Support employee relations activities as needed
•    Corporate HR project and event support as needed

•    Ability to work effectively under pressure in order to meet deadlines and goals
•    Willingness to travel as needed for training and development

Requirements:
Typical Education Required/Preferred:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field 
 
Typical Experience Required/Preferred (include management experience or other specifics):
•    Minimum 2-3 years HR related experience
•    Understanding of HR Law including FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, EEOC, ADEA
•    Natural ability to build strong working relationships with organizational leaders
•    Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
•    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize according to management directives
•    Must have strong problem solving skills, and creativity
•    Good judgment and use of common sense and tact are extremely important
•    Strong computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office
•    Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are preferred
