Receptionist

Fortinet is seeking a motivated and friendly Receptionist for our Corporate Headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA.  In this role you will be the “Face of Fortinet” for on site visitors and those calling in.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, professional but business casual environment where responsiveness, follow through and an ability to adapt to changing priorities are the norm.  A customer focused approach with a strong desire to help others is critical, but at the same time, being able to set expectations with others is necessary.  Ability to work well with a range of personalities is important as you will interface with Executives, Customers and our entire employee base. Reporting to Human Resources, you will also provide back-up administrative support to the HR and Staffing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to get their foot in the door of one of the valley’s hottest companies! This is a backfill for our current receptionist who has been promoted.

 

Receptionist Duties

• Greet guests, ensure they meet with their point of contact and issue wireless access passwords 
• Answer and route calls 
• Maintain schedule for restricted use conference rooms 
• Order and set-up meals as needed for meetings, training and events 
• Assist with food delivery for all the event
• Manage NDA process and database
• Incoming US Mail / Outgoing UPS packages – Notify Shipping
• Check in /out for the contractors, vendors and issue temporary badge. 

 

workplace Related Duties

• Assist with workplace team for HQ facility portal communication for EV ChargePoint, lunch program (Web box), EBC access and desk adjustment. 
• Print name tag for new hire and remove for termination.
• Yoga Instructor sign in, Provide Class Sign Up Sheet printout, escort to Yoga room.
• Retail Sale of Branded Apparel & Promotional Items / Customer Service, Greet & assist customer with product info, customer discounts, exchanges, assist with inventory management, restock, presentation & stickering apparel & products

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong customer service skills, friendly and welcoming demeanor with the ability to problem solve independently   
• Able to thrive in a fast paced, start-up like environment with the ability to resolve conflicting priorities 
• Solid MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel & Word required 
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Reception / front office required. 
• 2+ years of experience as an Exec Assistant or HR Assistant is preferred 
• AA degree or higher desired.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $28.00 - $34.00 Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
