Job Status: Year Round Full Time

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $1,923.08 to $2,050.00+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:

The Terrain Park Grooming Supervisor will assist the Terrain Park Manager in the overall delivery of the Terrain Park focusing on snow-cat operations. Individual is responsible for supervision, building, maintaining, training and motivation of grooming team. The Supervisor will also be responsible for daily risk management of terrain park venue including the design, build, testing of features and completion of daily logs. Park crew safety and other training programs will be at the forefront of this individual’s responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Manager in overseeing all terrain park builds 

• Train/coach/supervise, Terrain Park Cat Crew on nightly operations 

• Help with design/build/maintain features within the Terrain Park and events 

• Daily assessment of risk as well as inspections and testing of features 

• Communication – first point of contact between management, crew and other departments 

• Responsible for park operations/decisions when manager or terrain park supervisor is not available 

• Assist manager and terrain park supervisor with summer park operations 

• Assist with off season maintenance 

• Commutate with, manager, terrain park supervisor and hand crew leads to see the daily needs of the parks 

• Assist the Terrain Park Manager with short and long term design and layout goals.  

• Promote safety awareness among the Terrain Park Grooming staff.  

• Assist with training Terrain Park Grooming staff on safe and proper grooming and rail transportation techniques  

• Attend regular meetings with the Terrain Park Manager for long and short term planning. 

• Communicate with Terrain Park Day Crew about nightly Terrain Park adjustments or changes on a daily basis 

• Responsible for filling out Terrain Park Grooming Logs 

• Must be committed to adding progression throughout the park program 

• Ensure terrain based teaching terrain in built and maintained to industry standards and fulfills the needs of ski and ride school.  

Secondary Function:  

• Snowmaking, hand raking take offs, general trail grooming, shoveling, assisting in pre, mid and post season rail maintenance. 

Administration Duties: 

• Daily maintenance logs 

• Fuel logs 

• Assist with payroll, performance evaluations, hiring, and separations 

• Attendance at meetings as necessary 

• Ongoing development of standard operating procedures within the Terrain Park  

Guest Service Duties: 

• Provide exceptional guest service by creating a fun/innovative Terrain Park 

• Stay current with industry trends and standards
