Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Location: Farmington, MO
Department: Recovery Services
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
Plan menus including serving size proportions and minimum levels of caloric nutritional intake.
Conduct inventories as needed to insure meal preparation.
Maintain a “Daily Menu Substitution Log”. File menus for at least the past thirty (30) days.
Supervise kitchen and dining room clean up.
Purchase food and necessary supplies within budgetary requirements.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies (ie Health Department, CSTAR, DOA, etc.)
Maintain records to satisfy the requirements of the Free & Reduced Meal Program with USDA.
Monitor food temperatures.
Ensure staff evaluations are completed in a timely manner. Communicate well with staff.
Schedule staff for proper coverage.
Demonstrates interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.
Other duties as assigned by Executive Team Members.
Experience and Education Qualifications:
Evidence of at least one (1) year of responsible employment history; AND
A minimum of one (1) year paid experience in food preparation; AND
At least one (1) year supervisory experience.
