Temporary Warehouse and Operation Assistant

Position Summary

Location: Derby, KS 

Pay Rate: $16.00 

Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time or Part-Time (with potential for growth; not guaranteed)

Schedule: Monday- Friday - 7:00 am - 4:00pm (may be flexible)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Temporary Warehouse & Operations person to support day-to-day warehouse operations and general organizational duties. This role will assist with packaging, inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, and other operational tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.

• Prepare, package, and label products for shipment.

• Assist with shipping and receiving deliveries.

• Ensure all packages are accurate and completed on scheduled.

• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.

• Track incoming and outgoing inventory.

• Helps maintain accurate inventory records and notify supervisors of inventory discrepancies or low stock.

• Assist team members with operational projects and daily tasks.

• Move, organize, and store materials or supplies safely.

• Supports office and facility organization as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work area.

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, inventory, or operations experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs., repetitive movement, standing, walking, squat, and twisting.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills preferred.

While this is a temporary position there may be opportunities for growth based on performance and business needs; however, continued or permanent employment is not guaranteed. Temporary employees are non-benefit eligible. Candidate must be able to consistently work scheduled hours.
