Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and delivering events that leave a lasting impression? As the Senior Manager of Events Marketing at Index Exchange, you’ll oversee events and customer experiences across North America, as well as our marquee tentpole event in Cannes. Your meticulous attention to detail, stellar organizational skills, and knack for managing budgets will ensure every event exceeds expectations. This role reports to the VP of Brand Marketing, and works closely across the full marketing team, as well as stakeholders across the company, including the commercial and product teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Craft and execute an annual event calendar and strategy for the US and Canada.
  • Lead and Develop a Team: Guide and develop members of the events team to deliver exceptional experiences for customers.
  • Master the Details: Thrive on managing the fine points that make an event extraordinary. From timelines and logistics to vendor coordination and attendee experience, no detail will be overlooked.
  • Own the Budget: Skillfully manage event budgets, balancing creativity with fiscal responsibility. Your financial acumen will help you make smart decisions that maximize impact without compromising quality.
  • Elevate Customer Experiences: Focus on creating events that resonate with attendees, making each moment memorable. Whether it’s intimate client entertaining or large-scale conferences, your goal is to deliver an experience that delights and inspires.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside marketing and commercial teams to ideate, plan, and execute various events from larger owned events to intimate dinners, ensuring alignment with brand identity and goals.
  • Measure and Optimize: Develop robust metrics to track the success of event programs and lead generation efforts. Create customized event toolkits and post-event debriefs for key stakeholders, including analysis of attendees, wins, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Bring fresh ideas to the table by staying current with industry research, best practices, and innovative event solutions to make your events stand out.
  • Focus on Inclusivity: Ensure each experience you plan keeps inclusivity and belonging at the core of what we do.
  • Keep Sustainability as a Tenet in Planning: Plan experiences using sustainable best practices that maintain climate-consciousness and responsible event delivery.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably within the ad tech/digital advertising industry, with leadership experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Strong budgeting expertise and a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering experiences that wow.
  • A proven track record of managing complex events from start to finish.
