The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Chief of Staff - Human Factors Engineering (HFE) Functional Chief Engineer (FCE) (Senior or Lead) to join our team in Everett, Washington. This role will directly support the HFE FCE office, and partner with leaders and members of the Technical Fellowship across Human Factors Engineering, and peer FCE offices, to optimize organizational effectiveness, and enable the HFE FCE to focus on high-impact leadership priorities. This position serves as a trusted advisor and operational partner, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, managing key projects, and ensuring alignment across the HFE organization and broader enterprise.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Senior or Lead Level Chief of Staff - Human Factors Engineering (HFE) Functional Chief Engineers (FCE).
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with the HFE FCE and core leadership team to manage daily operations, prioritize initiatives, and streamline decision-making processes
Oversee the strategic management of the FCE’s travel plans, content, and follow-up
Serve as a liaison between the FCE and internal/external stakeholders, including engineering teams, program leaders, peer FCE offices, and executive leadership
Facilitate leadership meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on critical issues
Prepare and review presentations, reports, and communications for senior leadership and external partners
Analyze data and metrics to provide insights that inform strategic planning and operational improvements
Coordinate strategic programs across the FCE office, ensuring alignment with Boeing’s business objectives and Human Factors Engineering goals
Foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence within the Human Factors Engineering organization
Act as a delegate for the FCE at non-technical meetings
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
