Laboratory technician

We are now looking for a laboratory technician for a permanent position to our Bonded Abrasives unit at our headquarters in Jeppo.

As a laboratory technician, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples, performing laboratory analyses, and reporting the results to support and participate in further development work. You will work in the research and product development department with a focus on product development and analysis. You will play an active role in the product development process by contributing to recipes, mixtures, manufacturing, and testing. You will also be responsible for writing technical reports in English and sharing the results with your team. Furthermore, you will participate in laboratory development as well as in training and development opportunities, both locally and internationally (for example, in Italy). In addition, effective collaboration with other departments and support for cross-functional projects as needed is also an important part of your duties.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A suitable vocational or polytechnic degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience, preferably from a laboratory within the industry.
• Good language skills in Swedish and English.

We would also appreciate if you are patient and flexible in your work approach, and transparent in your communication. Basic knowledge of Office programs is also important.
