As part of a small, passionate, diverse, accomplished, and rapidly evolving team of experts, you will assemble major launch vehicle structures, secondary structures, and other spaceflight systems. We are looking for an entry-level general helper who is committed to safety, and quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Responsibilities:

• Help with the setup of new production work areas to include, tooling and equipment
• Capable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts, fork trucks, and other ground support equipment as required
• Helping with Continuous Improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
• Perform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities, and eliminate FOD
• Ability to move parts and tooling from one work center to another
• Ability to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by higher level technicians/supervision or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in at least three of the following is required:
• Some experience with hand tools and assemblies
• Ability to work from written work instructions
• Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, disciplines, and backgrounds
• Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and person
• Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas
• Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
