The Boeing Enterprise Data & Analytics team is seeking a Manufacturing and Quality Product Family Senior Manager (PFM) in Seattle, WA. The PFM is responsible for defining the Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy, overseeing the development and management of the data and AI product within Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA). This role will be part of the Analytics leadership team and report directly to Boeing’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer. The role will require presence at various Boeing Seattle area sites across Renton, Everett and Auburn.
This senior leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to guide products from conception to launch, driving adoption of new data driven ways of working. The PFM role will engage directly with the business users and executive stakeholders across Boeing and will be accountable for driving data, digital thread and AI applications in manufacturing and quality domains. PFMs are responsible for ensuring consistent product design and delivery across their product family.
Additional responsibilities for PFMs include building a strategy for maturing data and AI capabilities in their domain, identifying and prioritizing business needs, de-risking product development, monitoring product family performance, and mentoring product managers.

Position Responsibilities:
Understand current state, identify opportunities for solving complex business problems through data and AI
Develop product strategy roadmaps with a clear tie to value realization
Build, manage, deploy and grow product portfolio for data, analytics and AI capabilities in manufacturing and quality domains across Boeing businesses
Develop future state vision for data lake strategy to bring manufacturing and quality data across from across Boeing
Help shape digital thread strategy for the enterprise and lead implementation and adoption of digital thread in manufacturing and quality
Identify opportunities to implement analytics and AI drive real-time visibility, alerting and predictability for of manufacturing and supplier quality
Improve best practices for streamlined collaboration and data exchange with Boeing’s suppliers
Create, measure, and report progress against product and/or product family objectives and key results (OKRs) to provide leadership updates on value delivered
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (management and executive levels) to define product implementation, risk management plans, and product strategy
Coordinate with other PFMs and product managers to identify major dependencies (e.g., release timeline) and develop mitigation plans
Lead and orchestrate execution of strategic initiatives and define/track metrics for success
Own the end-to-end integrated roadmap across products within family
Mentor, develop and evaluate product managers within the product family
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of management experience
5+ years of experience in a product management specialist area or related field
5+ years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems
3+ years of experience in data analytics
Experience developing strategic product and technical roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Masters or Ph.D. in engineering or manufacturing
10+ years of experience
