About The Role

 

As a (Senior) Structurer you will step into a dynamic role with strong technical knowledge and working alongside underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure the vision of the business and follow regulatory guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Support the Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) EMEA team in origination, structuring and execution activities.

• Sell and market alternative risk solutions together with sales to brokers and clients. 

• Enable growth of Economic Profit by generating and cultivating a strong deal pipeline.

• Ensure that SRCS's ART team is known in the market as a consistent and reliable partner for alternative risk and capital management solutions.

• Lead interdisciplinary deal teams.

• In collaboration with regional Customer and Distribution Management, the Underwriting Teams and the local CEOs, establish and meet plan objectives.

• In collaboration with all stakeholders ensure best practice underwriting.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accounting, tax and legal requirements and adherence to Group Guidelines and Guidance in place – to mitigate reputational risk.

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key internal parties and external clients, brokers risk and captive managers. 

 

 

About the Team

 

As part of CorSo's Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) team, the position holder will support origination, structuring and execution of all types of non-standard solutions for corporate entities, reporting to the Head Alternative Risk Transfer EMEA. Alternative product offerings include structured re/insurance, parametric covers and many others. 

 

About You

 

The ideal candidates have profound analytical capabilities with consistent decision-making skills to enhance our strategic goals.

 

We are open to the level of experience and your seniority level will be evaluated during the recruitment process.

 

You have:

• University degree in relevant field (BA or MA)

• Between 3-7 years of experience working in the EMEA risk transfer market and corresponding underwriting functions.

• Solid know-how of traditional and alternative re/insurance products and markets.

• Preferably, practical experience with risk assessment, parametric and index-based solutions and/or ILS markets.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and focus on execution, pronounced bias towards closing deals.

• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

• Strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive complex solutions over the finishing line.

• Fluency in English required and good command of at least one other language.

• Willingness to travel

 

 

For France, the base salary range for the Structurer position level is between EUR 58,000 and 86,000 and for the Senior Structurer level is between EUR 90,000 and 134,000 (for a full-time role). The
