SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION

To be responsible to the Principal and Families of Leman Classical for the management of the school office so that it is an effective administration center where staff and visitors are supported. In addition, the purpose of the Office Manager is to act as the main point of contact for all administrative duties that happen on the campus levels from the Colorado Department of Education compliance, Scholar Information Systems (infinite Campus), Teachers, and Administration Support. This is not an administration position within the campus but will act as the first report to the administration team on each campus and will often be called on to make business decisions that will affect the entire campus population including scholars, families, teachers, and the community being served.


Job Requirements/Qualifications:

? Completed Online Application (Required)

? Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent work experience in office administration

? 5-10 years of School Administrative Experience (Required)

? Experience using Student Information Systems

? Colorado State and FBI Fingerprinting

? CPR/1st Aid Card

? Experience in Charter School settings is a plus


Essential Job Functions:

? To be responsible for the daily running of the school office. Manages the Administrative team (front desk).

? To show creative flair in developing the administrative areas of the school in line with current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Leman Classical regulations.

? To seek advice from the principal on matters of doubt/difficulty.

? To develop computer-aided administration, initiating new applications to support the school as a whole.

? To act as the focal point for communication both orally and in writing with teaching and support staff, scholars, parents, and outside agencies while maintaining strict confidentiality.

? To assure that the front office team is managing the front office, and parents’ inquiries with the utmost customer service.

? To draft routine correspondence using appropriate software including Infinite Campus and remind staff, parents, and scholars as necessary.

? To establish and maintain appropriate scholar and other records (e.g. the school admissions register, contact lists in the event of accidents to scholars or staff, etc.), including assisting in or where appropriate undertaking, the preparation of statistics, reports on the work of the school and the completion of returns required by Leman Classical or Douglas County School District (DCSD).

? To correctly administer admissions and support improving attendance through working with Site Administration.

? To ensure all personnel data and contracts are correct and up to date in WorkDay.

? To deal with the administrative tasks relating to the transfer of children/withdrawals and the requirements of DCSD and other outside agencies.

? Manage Guest Teacher online program (Frontline) including requests and quality assurance of teacher plans input into the system and communication back to site administration on the quality of guest teachers.

? In addition to the Frontline System, the Office Manager will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
