This role will be four days/week in the office, unless traveling, at one of the following locations: Alpharetta, GA; Lafayette, IN; Nuremberg, Germany; Prague, Czech Republic; or Cham, Switzerland (no overseas relocation is on offer).

 

Job Summary:

Landis+Gyr’s Global Technology Office seeks a Global Product Manager Analytics with solid experience in Grid Operations, Grid or Water Analytics, Smart Grids, or Energy Management Systems. You will play a significant role in the development and launch of new Analytics solutions on a global level.

Key Responsibilities:

 

As a Global Product Manager Analytics, you will:

  • Act as the “CEO” of the global Analytics portfolio & own the business case for Analytics solutions globally
  • Lead the complete product lifecycle of the assigned end-to-end solutions, incl. authoring Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), prioritization of sustainment activities, contribution to the Investment Plan (IPL), and the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Support R&D feasibility, ensure delivery according to the roadmap, and present to Executive Project Governance Boards for stage gate reviews
  • Work together with the regional teams to address market needs, define Go-to-market strategies, and launch Analytics solutions, incl. commercial and technical documentation, pricing strategies, training modules, customer communications, and demo systems
  • Conduct competition analysis and understand market research for addressing market and business needs
  • Represent Landis+Gyr at industry events, conferences, and customer-specific meetings
  • Manage strategic partnerships

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • University degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with an MBA degree (preferred)
  • Minimum seven years of work experience in energy utility operations, Grid Management, Grid planning, or Asset Management
  • Experience with Analytics products or Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)
  • Proven ability in leading and influencing individuals and organizations not under a direct reporting relationship
  • Skilled in strategic planning and execution, effective written and verbal communication, including experience in public speaking
  • Deep understanding of marketing concepts/market research

Additional skills as an advantage:

  • Knowledge of /experience with new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Cloud technologies and architectures
  • Certifications in Formal Product Management, such as Pragmatic Marketing and New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Fluency in English preferred German, Spanish, or French
