Surgical Scrub Technician & LPN

Description

The Surgical Technician prepares and maintains the surgical center to ensure it is in good working order.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Participates in the surgery by providing sterile instruments to the surgeon.
• Follows regulations and industry procedures to tend to patient during pre-operation procedures.
• Performs pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body and medical equipment.
• May be required to transport patient to and from the operating room.
• Must have a clear understanding of company policies including the company manual.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

• Sitting, Standing, Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Walking and Lifting
• Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks
• Driving independently to other facilities
