We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Charging Infrastructure and Smart Energy Systems. This position requires an experienced engineering professional with a wide background and knowledge base in charging hardware and communications systems, EVSEs, V1/2G, stationary storage, home energy management systems, policy and marketing. Sr. Manager, Charging Infrastructure and Smart Energy
We are currently seeking a leader in Charging Infrastructure and Smart Energy Systems. This position requires an experienced engineering professional with a wide background and knowledge base in charging hardware and communications systems, EVSEs, CPOs, e-roaming platforms, V1/2G, stationary storage, home energy management systems, policy and marketing.

Role:
•Drive the definition and execution of Lucid’s strategy for:- Public charging- Residential charging- Smart Energy- Mobile Power
•Manage, support and build the North American charging team to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.•Establish a team, required processes and resources for charging interoperability testing.  ���Continuously monitor and track product and service KPIs ensure a strong focus on customer experience and positive business case. •Define the requirements and specifications of the power components and energy management system both onboard and offboard the vehicle.•Identify and manage business partnerships.•Monitor and investigate the impact on Lucid of policy and standards in the charging and home energy management realm.
Requirements:
•Strong technical background in charging technologies, communications protocols and networks•Deep knowledge in charging standards in different regions of the world•Experience in power electronics and system integration•Strong understanding of power systems around the world•Language proficiency in English•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•5+ years in the automotive or EV charging industry•Minimum – BS or MS in Engineering or related field. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors. 
·       California (Bay Area) - $165,000 - $236,000 Additional Compensation and Benefits:
Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
