The Role

Introduction
Kyndryl spun off from IBM in November 2021, instantly becoming the largest infrastructure services provider in the world with many of the Fortune 500 already among its clients.  But we don’t want to be JUST an infrastructure services provider, we want and need to find innovative ways to do more for those clients.  With that in mind, we have been aggressively expanding our consulting ranks in innovative areas like cloud computing, software development, and data.  This expanded consulting team will work with new and existing clients to help them achieve more.

Senior Lead, Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture, Kyndryl Inc., New York, NY, and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Perform platform engineer role on-site at client and be responsible for delivering cloud services and architecture designs. Evaluate the proposed solutions, document procedures, and support implementation engineers. Provide architectural and services support directions on the latest core IT technologies. Work face-to-face with the customer and understand business needs for high-level security servers. Propose solutions to technical project issues, respond rapidly to urgent requests, and manage technical severity and crisis situations as well as manage workload to achieve project goals before deadlines. Act as the focal point for clients to discuss and manage system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines of existing and future projects per requirements. Act as the technical escalation contact for the client to drive rapid recovery of business-impacting technical issues and for cloud services-related incidents and technical projects. Utilize: IT Specialist framework, Architectural Design Thinking process/Team Solutioning design, Dell EMC VxRail Solution, VMWare, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Ansible. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related (employer will accept associate degree plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Application Architect or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing IT Specialist framework, Architectural Design Thinking process/Team Solutioning design, Dell EMC VxRail Solution, VMWare, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Ansible. $110,000.00 to $178,200.00 per year. Full time. AV120.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related (employer will accept associate degree plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Application Architect or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing IT Specialist framework, Architectural Design Thinking process/Team Solutioning design, Dell EMC VxRail Solution, VMWare, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Ansible.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position is 

 $102,390  to $233,450  based on a full-time schedule.  Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities.  For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Shared Success plan.

 Job will be ONSITE in Midland, MI, requires onsite, not work at home.
