Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

One of the following:

• BS in Pharmacy
• PharmD

 

Working knowledge of drug therapy and disease state management

 

2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience performing leadership duties in a pharmacy

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

 

 

Licensure in good standing by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy or eligibility for licensure

 

Permanent licenses will be required within six months of entry into the job

 

Desired Qualifications: 

 

ASHP accredited residency or fellowship

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to a retail pharmacy healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality service. Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as accrediting organizations.
