Pharmacy Technician

Description

We are seeking multiple highly motivated Pharmacy Technician I to join our team. The Pharmacy Technicians will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist to provide medication and other healthcare products to patients and consumers. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Enjoy a Health Center environment working Monday-Friday, with no weekends required!

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing prescribed medication by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and packaging medication

- Collect, organize, and evaluate patient information

- Manage medication distribution and inventory

- Provide drug information and education to patients or consumers

- Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, stocking shelves, and operating cash registers

Requirements

- National Certification (CPhT) (required within 90 days of employment).

- Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registration is required.

- Previous experience in Pharmacy or the healthcare industry is required.

- At least 1-year experience with prescription order entry is required.
