About the role
We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Sr. Learning Specialist for our Broomfield, CO location.
The Learning and Development (L&D) Strategist provides strategic and hands-on support to design, implement, and optimize organizational learning initiatives. This role is responsible for developing L&D strategy, designing and building compliance training, managing third-party training vendors, and administering the company’s Learning Management System (LMS). The strategist will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to enhance workforce capability, ensure compliance alignment, and improve training operations.
The Learning and Development (L&D) Strategist provides strategic and hands-on support to design, implement, and optimize organizational learning initiatives. This role is responsible for developing L&D strategy, designing and building compliance training, managing third-party training vendors, and administering the company’s Learning Management System (LMS). The strategist will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to enhance workforce capability, ensure compliance alignment, and improve training operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess organizational learning needs and align recommendations with business objectives.
- Develop and refine L&D strategies to improve workforce capability and performance and enhance overall employee engagement and retention.
- Provide guidance on training methodologies, formats, and delivery best practices that support a positive, growth-oriented employee experience.
- Design and develop compliance training programs that reflect industry standards and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and compliant.
- Leverage Articulate, TalentLMS, Canva, and similar tools to build engaging eLearning materials.
- Evaluate, recommend, and coordinate with third-party training vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals and training objectives.
- Configure, manage, and optimize the LMS to ensure efficient operation.
- Upload, structure, and maintain learning content and curricula.
- Track learner progress, generate analytics, and troubleshoot technical or user issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to streamline onboarding, training touchpoints, and learner support systems.
- Improve the employee experience at all point of the employee lifecycle.
You Must Have:
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, including training design, strategy, and program implementation.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience administering an LMS
- Minimum 3+ years of experience developing eLearnings
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

- Demonstrated experience managing or consulting with third‑party training vendors for at least 2 years.
- Proven ability to measure and analyze training effectiveness using data and analytics.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
