This job works in partnership with stakeholders on strategic initiatives and assigned projects. This job is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and reporting out on a project through its lifecycle by utilizing capacity management and leveraging business tools to identify opportunities for best practice strategies.

Education

Required – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, Health Care Administration or related field

Preferred – Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, Health Care Administration or related field

Work Experience

Required – 4 years’ experience in healthcare operations, capacity management, project management, or related field or 3 years’ of related experience with a Master’s degree

Certifications

Preferred - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout required job processes.
• Excellent judgement, organizational, time management, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive analytical skills to create service availability analysis out of raw data.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently, set project priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel throughout and between facilities.

Job Duties

• Provides guidance and expertise related to project initiatives.     
• Enables an effective project communication strategy through active communications with stakeholders.
• Analyzes data and generates tools to provide analytical support for stakeholders.             
• Serves as a resource for projects and initiatives in assigned focus area system-wide.        
• Identifies and resolves project related issues and processes.       
• Serves as the point of contact between the stakeholders.
