You will be the Single Point Of Contact of the NAM Health, Nutrition and Care BU with the world of Taste, ensuring best resources are working on exciting customer briefs to deliver not only business growth but great tasting and healthy products to consumers.

Your key responsibilities
BRIEF EXECUTION

• Represents HNC at the regional TTH morning meetings 
• Project management of all HNC Taste regional projects (incl. HNC-Taste resource identification)
• Co-leads the technical development of New Joint Concepts for HNC Taste regionally and the direct support for relevant Key strategic clients and projects 
• Engages with Client and Account Manager to initiate project kick-off, project scope, and ensure project timelines are defined to ensure target outcome. Act a project lead for complex briefs 
• Develop and present applied demo’s to customer supported by technical rationale and science when relevant

 

CUSTOMER INTERACTION

• Positions dsm-firmenich as the preferred flavor partner, through market knowledge, brand understanding, winning flavors and technologies.
•  Ensures strong storytelling to strengthen the submission and build trust with the client.
• Prepares and delivers client's technical presentations linked to HNC Taste briefs in partnership with corresponding AM

 

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Is an active sponsor and participates to the regional HNC leadership meetings
• Acts as the Taste expert (technologies, processes and tools) in the HNC region
• Supports the Regional deployment of the Global Client TTH Facing Programs and Tonalities from a Technical perspective across all HNC segments
• 20-30% of time to support application bench work activities linked to customer TASTE  briefs  and regularly part of daily tasting panels 

 

 MANAGEMENT

• Leads the Regional HNC Taste Expertise from a Technical and Business Development perspectives
• Deploys the relevant Taste technologies in line with the global HNC segment strategies and the key segment markets needs
• Liaises with HNC Technical, HNC Regional SAL and TTH Regional Marketing and Business Development teams
• With the regional HNC SAL, assess the results throughout the year (quarterly review of business sales/vitality KPI's) and contribute to highlight the category needs for future strategy reviews and alignments, take corrective actions and share, promote and leverage successes..

You bring 

• Knowledge of the Food, Food supplement or Pharma industry, Food ingredients and Flavors and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Capable of leading formulation development activities in matrix team environment to define robust formulation (including flavors) and manufacturing process per customer’s need.
• Bachelor's degree and  6+ years in Food / Flavor Product Development with working knowledge of regulations pertaining to dietary supplement manufacturing.
