Salary Range:

$153,000.00 - $199,000.00

 What’s the role?

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our ML Orchestration Platform team working to work with us on building and managing the tooling that powers evaluating our Search, Ads, Trust & Safety, and Recommendations systems.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for building systems that enable teams to confidently deploy changes to our recommendation systems before deploying them in production. These tools work by sending historical and/or simulated requests in a pre-production environment and evaluating responses to generate analytic reports. Our innovative evaluation layer helps nearly 100M buyers and over 5M sellers navigate Etsy’s extensive marketplace by enabling our teams to move quickly and confidently. For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice

• Play a central role in building evaluation tools for our search and recommendation systems
