THE JOB:
As a Cook at South End Market, you will play a starring role in crafting meals for our guests. You will showcase your precision, skills, and culinary passion in every meal. South End Market is dynamic fast-paced dining setting that offers a variety of cuisines catering to every taste, from early morning breakfasts to late-night bites.

THE STARTING RATE:

• $20.65 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Build a solid foundation of culinary knowledge and skills, mastering various food products and applying cooking techniques to create delicious dishes.
• Hone your skills with professional kitchen equipment, ensuring efficiency and precision in every meal prepared.
• Keep the kitchen stocked with all necessary supplies and food items, ensuring seamless service.
• Label and date products to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen leaders and staff to execute flawless service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
• Work as a cohesive team to assist with all guest needs and inquiries.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume dining production within a culinary role or formal culinary training is a bonus.
