Job Description:The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family Medicine seeks a full-time or part-time Family Medicine Physician to provide direct patient care and fulfill teaching responsibilities for UF medical students and Family Medicine Residents who rotate at the clinic. The successful candidate will participate in patient care, educational conferences, seminars, and lectures, with potential oversight of ARNP/PAs to foster a collaborative approach to patient care. We value professional development and provide opportunities to expand your expertise and skills. We will consider both full-time and part-time candidates and the rank is commensurate with qualifications.
Clinical Duties:
- Deliver direct primary health care at UF Health – Family Medicine Jonesville Clinic
- Participate in inpatient or clinic call rotations based on your interests and the needs of the department
- Provide team-based care using innovative models, which may include collaborating with ARNP/PAs in a supervisory role
- Share in faculty duties as assigned
Educational Activities:
- Teach medical students and/or Family Medicine Residents during patient care activities, inpatient rounds (if applicable), and educational conferences
- Participate in scholarly activity and professional development to advance our faculty, department, and discipline
- Publish and present your work at conferences
- Take advantage of opportunities for professional development and growth within the field
