About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to lead our Midcontinent Oil & Gas data team in the Enterprise Data Organization. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster a high-performing team, and ensure the seamless collection, analysis, and integration of critical data. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing data-driven decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & People Management: Inspire, mentor, and guide a team of data professionals to foster innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of oil and gas data accumulation processes.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure high-quality data collection, validation, and integration, supporting business intelligence and analytics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to advance data initiatives.
  • Technology & Innovation: Leverage emerging technologies and best practices to refine data accumulation methods and improve operational outcomes.
  • Customer Engagement & Satisfaction: Provide strong customer service by addressing inquiries, providing insightful solutions, and ensuring a positive experience that drives trust and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience with oil and gas data or related field. 
  • Proven track record in people leadership, preferably within oil & gas data management.
  • Strong understanding of Midcontinent oil & gas operations and industry-specific data trends.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data governance, analytics, and digital transformation within the sector.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000 - 110,000 USD Annual. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
