Maintenance Intern

Maintenance and upkeep of interior and exterior of all bank facilities including grounds and landscaping.
Performs preventive maintenance.
General repairs in all buildings.
Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of security procedures; practice established procedures.
Understand role in case of robbery, whether a victim or bystander, and know proper post-robbery procedures.

INTERACTION:
The interpersonal skills necessary to courteously greet customers and visitors, and to work with co-workers and supervisor to provide information and other assistance, and to positively represent the bank.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will vary.
1. Is exposed to noise, dust, heat, cold, malfunctions of mechanical equipment and other factors during the course of any given day.
2. Exposed to potentially hazardous condition, i.e., robbery. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the exposure.

Knowledge of the proper use of commonly used hand tools and electrical hand tools.
Possession of a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
A good general mechanical background and understanding to ensure that the bank properties are maintained properly, including preventive maintenance.
The ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
