Company Description

Experian’s role in the Digital ecosystem continues to evolve, sitting at the center of campaign targeting through a series of existing, in-flight and future offerings that allow buyers and sellers to reach their desired audiences.  The Sr. Director, Product Management will own the long-term success of Experian’s activation related products, ensuring the seamless execution and delivery of roadmap items in this area.  This collection of products/capabilities includes onboarding of Experian and third-party audiences to various platforms as well as Experian’s own platform (Audience Engine). 

You will lead a team of Product Managers and work in lockstep with development teams to execute against the product vision.  Leveraging agile development practices, this person will shepherd deliverables from requirements through to delivery and beyond.   

This position is fully remote in the US and reports to the Chief Product Officer.

Job Description

  • Clearly articulate the vision for Activation related products and the roadmap ahead. 

  • Work directly with clients to understand business needs, client-specific technical needs/limitations, and foster potential solutions.   

  • Solicit feedback from clients on existing and potential product offerings. 

  • Prioritize the backlog of Activation related items, providing clear trade-off options where necessary.  Ensure backlog contemplates both near and long-term goals. 

  • Communicate status to senior leadership, including escalations where necessary. 

  • Work with new and existing client integration partners to define and align on work required and associated timelines. 

  • Aid in the definition and ensure alignment across Product and Technology on end-to-end design and process flow. 

  • Ensure all roadmaps include proper automation and standardization. 

  • Lead a team of Product Managers to define clear epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria. 

  • Provide guidance, mentorship and career development opportunities to team members.  Ensure teams are following best practices (e.g. agile techniques). 

  • Clear roadblocks and ensure that the team is working toward clearly defined milestones and timelines for execution.  Develop KPIs (pre and post-product/feature launch) that will clearly indicate the progress towards those goals. 

  • Work with Product Marketing teams to facilitate go-to-market strategy. 

Qualifications

  • Strong domain knowledge and technical experience in the Ad-Tech/Mar-Tech space; 

  • Working knowledge of leading onboarding/activation platforms (e.g. The Trade Desk, LiveRamp, Oracle, etc). 

  • Proven track record of defining and executing against a product roadmap on time and with quality. 

  • Experience leading highly technical products. 

  • Experience with iterative product development (agile) - delivering business value to customers early and continuously while working toward a broader strategic vision. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to present and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences; 

  • Proficient in the development of competitive assessments and positioning, product planning and roadmap definition, sales training, and presentations. 

  • High level of business maturity to represent the company in business partnerships and client discussions. 

  • Be a self-starter who can identify key focus areas and prioritize time commitments in the absence of specific guidance. 

  • Experience leading and developing high performing teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets.
