What You Can Expect
As the Senior Civil Engineer is a key player of a diverse team developing cutting-edge energy storage solutions. This role includes working with development, and electrical design teams to provide innovative, forward thinking design solutions to facilitate the development, design, and construction of battery energy storage systems. This position is part of the Flexible Generation & Retail Global Business Unit (FGBU) in North America.
Every day you will work with the design team to create site layouts and civil land development design in AutoCAD for utility battery energy storage projects.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes
- Involved with the resolution of design challenges that may include performing field investigation or observations and when necessary resolving discrepancies between multiple sources of information
- Prepares reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects
- Interact with contractors for site studies, define scope and evaluate the work product
- Must keep up to date on new technologies and regulatory conditions including codes, industry standards, best practices, customer requirements, and other relevant standards
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in cvil and/or structual design
- Proficiency in the creation of civil land development layout including grading, site drainage, and access road design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines

Compensation
Salary Range: $100,905 – $200,625 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
