About the role
- Instrumentation and Electrical troubleshooting. This includes maintaining and troubleshooting the following equipment: large electric shovels, haul truck communication systems, large pumping station motor control centers, synchronous mill starters and numerous variable speed drive systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by operation needs and electrical foreman
Position is assigned to an Operating crew and will work rotating 12-hr shifts. Limited call-outs.
- Applicant must be capable of working safely around high voltage including substation work.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years industrial electrical experience and have a good working knowledge of high voltage 3 phase power systems, DC drives, VFD’s, PLC’s and electronic control systems. .
- Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits
