About the role

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.

The Applications Platform team aims to provide a rich set of services and tools to enable building and deploying Cloud Services as containerized workloads and manage the entire development and deployment lifecycle. Oracle’s Container Engine for Kubernetes, Oracle Serverless and API Gateway are the flagship offerings from this organization. We are also building new services to provide an Oracle Managed Kubernetes, App Development Platform, Application Governance and compliance services. This role is within Pegasus team, which manages a platform for providing service templates, configuration artifacts and tools with built-in best practices to develop OCI services.

We offer unique opportunities for smart, hands-on engineers and technical leads with the expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and virtualized infrastructure.

What does the position offer?

You work on a team that owns the design, development, and operations for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure in the Cloud Native space In the Applications Platform team you could  be working on the Managed Kubernetes , Serverless and API Management offerings. You would have a chance to  build new services from scratch and also scale and operate existing services.

You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to understand broad systems interactions, have excellent design skills while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower level system interactions.
