Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist

A Carter Lumber Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the timely processing of invoices for payment and ensuring correct terms are taken. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company is necessary in order to be successful in this position. This will be onsite at the corporate office in Kent, OH

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to review documents for accuracy
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Onsite Monday-Friday at the corporate office in Kent, OH

Essential Functions:
Data Entry

• Processes vendor invoices and releases for payment. Ensures proper matching on invoices that have been received, and the appropriate vendor is being paid.

Administrative

• Assist stores with issues on invoices; works with vendors to resolve issues. Performs other duties such as copying and scanning invoices

Physical Aspects:

• Ability to spend long periods of time on a computer
• Ability to type and enter data
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Personal computer and various software
• Copier, fax machine and other office equipment
