Jr. IT Analyst/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior IT Analyst and Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing IT systems and projects, identifying areas for improvement, and providing support in managing and executing various technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, detail-oriented, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has a passion for technology, project management, and learning new things.

Responsibilities:

1. IT Analysis:

• Conduct analysis of existing IT systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business needs.
• Assist in evaluating and recommending IT solutions and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Project Management:

• Assist in managing and coordinating IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Create project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to management and stakeholders.

3. Technical Support:

• Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security measures.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to IT systems, processes, and projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate project progress and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
• Familiarity with O365, the Microsoft Power Platform, and/or Azure is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Possesses strong communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Project+, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
• This role is primarily remote, but will require some travel to our office in Fairless Hills, PA to assist in managing various IT hardware.
