This position will provide support for legal vendor management and operations that drive legal quality and ensure the delivery of superior law firm performance across the Claims Organization. The Sr. Litigation Analyst must be an analytical thinker who will identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, reporting, analysis as well as data visualization. This position will build, monitor, and analyze legal vendor performance metrics and partner with stakeholders on the delivery of litigation data.

This position will build, monitor, and analyze legal vendor performance metrics and partner with stakeholders on the delivery of litigation data.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all law firm and legal vendor agreements and related law firm information
- Support the implementation and periodic updating of policies and procedures relating to legal vendor performance
- Collect and analyze data to identify and drive ongoing improvement to programs, policies, and procedures
- Create reports and processes to evaluate production activities and outside legal spend
- Collaborate with business partners to develop playbooks and processes to implement data-driven strategies to manage expenses and monitor internal and external resource performance
- Maintain updated information on internal platforms to support departmental objectives and provide technical and training support
- Provide support for law firm audit processes
- Provide support for legal vendor relationship management
- Distribute litigation performance reports to Claims directors and other appropriate stakeholders
- Lead ad-hoc research and other projects
- Lead departmental and organizational projects
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent work experience
Certification
- Paralegal certificate preferred
Work Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a law firm, insurance or claims setting, operations, project management or analyst role
- Prior litigation management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Productivity or similar software
- Experience working with complex multi-system processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
Skill Sets
- Advanced to expert in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with Adobe, document review and redactions
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility and diligence
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and strong sense of personal accountability for results
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skill set that includes a collaborative approach
- Thinks innovatively about customer service and providing efficient solutions
- Strong desire for continuous improvement
