Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager for PayPal's Open ID Connect Platform within the Identity Platform team, you will spearhead the development and enhancement of account linking solutions that facilitate trusted connections among consumers, merchants, and strategic partners. Your expertise will drive privacy-centric data sharing solutions using OAuth industry standards, with the goal of fostering innovative account linking use cases that elevate customer engagement and integrate PayPal branding throughout the end-to-end customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Technical Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy for the Open ID Connect Platform, ensuring it aligns with PayPal's overarching business goals and consumer engagement initiatives.

• Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and implement state-of-the-art account linking solutions that enhance user interactions and drive business value.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with product, data science, compliance, and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate identity and account linking technologies into PayPal's ecosystem.

• Market and Industry Analysis: Analyze market trends and advancements in identity management, including developments in OAuth standards, privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA), and best practices for secure account linking and data sharing.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product vision and technical concepts effectively to leadership, partners, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and driving adoption of new account linking initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in product management or platform product management, preferably in Platform function and/or in Identity domain

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Open ID Connect, OAuth standards, and identity management solutions.

• Communication Skills: Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business discussions and stakeholder engagement.
