• Build large-scale backend and infra applications.
• Design and develop core and backend software components with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, Hack and more.
• Lead key product features that requires working with cross-functional stakeholders such as product management, product design & data science.
• Build and ship features with reliability, and improve quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes.
• Set direction and goals for the team regarding project impact, product quality and engineering efficiency.
• Lead major initiatives & product feature changes and land impact.
• Onboard new team members, provide mentorship and enable successful ramp up on the team's code bases.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:
• 1. Building complex machine learning and computer vision models in Python, NumPy, SciPy, and Django
• 2. Building back-end algorithms and foundational data structures of web applications and APIs using Java and Python
• 3. Building data models, querying data tables using Python, and querying relational databases using SQL
• 4. Operating systems and improving system-level performance using C and Assembly and
• 5. Conceptual understanding of computer networks and implementing different layers of the network stack including TCP, UDP and IP.
