Business Systems Analysis, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

The Medicare team is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Common Working File  processing system for our client, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This position requires a motivated individual with healthcare and Medicare claims processing experience. CWF knowledge is desired. Peraton’s Medicare Systems team is a virtual team.

 

Skills:

• Experience in the Agile Methodology in software development using Jira and Confluence

• Experience with Human Centered Design principles

• Demonstrated ability to create requirements document and test plans

• Proficient at MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Skilled in TSO/ISPF; Mainframe applications

• Strong written and verbal communication at a level appropriate for customer and CMS interaction/visibility

• Established knowledge of Medicare claims processing systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience
• Public Trust
• 5 years of experience with developing requirements and test plans for moderately complex to complex mainframe systems
• 5 years of experience with healthcare claims/Medicare claims experience preferred
• 1 or more years of experience working with Confluence and Jira
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
• 5 years’ experience

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
