Job Description:

A Data Intern will be responsible for supporting the company’s Digital Platforms and AI Organization(DPAIO). During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 18th- August 7th).
• Enrolled in an approved academic program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field of study.
• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
• For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Students will be assigned to a specific group within DPAIO based on skill set and need of the business. Students should have experience and education in:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
• Knowledge of Machine Learning/LLM knowledge, Data visualization, Python, SQL, Java, AWS, Azure, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Natural Language Processing, AI Model development, Agentic AI Framework, Gen AI. Technologies used vary team to team.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location, the hourly range* for this specific position is $24.70 to $35.29
