THE ROLE: LABORATORY ASSISTANT
Job Responsibilities:
- Load samples in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis
- Call critical results
- Perform instrument maintenance under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor
- Archive and retrieve samples
- Perform inventory
- Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required
- Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred
- Detail oriented
- Mon-Fri: 7am-6pm availability (shifts discussed during interview)
