With us, you’ll shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match. </p><p><em>But there’s more work to be done - that’s why we need you to join us.</em></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Investment Manager</strong> to advise on commercial aspects of the onshore wind, pv and hydro portfolio in the Nordics. </p><p>The Commercial Development unit in the Development team in Nordics organization is a newly established team. We will ensure that Statkraft is able to monitor, assess and select the right projects across onshore wind, pv and hydro power in the Nordics, find the right partners and acquisition opportunities to achieve our ambitions, and ensure an updated knowledge of the market and investor environment. The team will work in close cooperation with the asset owners and will in many cases work as an integrated part of the project development teams.  </p><p>We will work closely together with all parts of Statkraft involved in development and investments decisions including the asset owners, regions in the Nordics and corporate. </p><p>As a Senior Investment Manager you will support the Development unit in the Nordics on commercial aspects of the onshore wind, pv and hydro portfolio. The tasks will vary over time, but could typically be: </p><ul><li>Develop and maintain the business case and valuation model for onshore wind and PV projects in the Nordics and drive the financial optimization of projects – as an integrated part of the project development teams</li><li>Support in route to market assessments, develop and maintain investor network, investor relations and partnerships for sell-down of projects where relevant</li><li>Track transactions and market development, have in-house view on investor appetite and assumptions </li><li>Advise on commercial aspects of the onshore wind and pv portfolio in the Nordics</li><li>Support strategic initiatives (e.g. business model assessment, new geographies and new business areas) </li><li>Work in a highly competent team and engage with experts across the company, including participating in the broader commercial network in Statkraft</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We look for an experienced Investment Manager with the essential skill to be part of building a team and drive commercial value. We believe this includes: </p><ul><li>Master’s degree in science, economics, engineering or similar with documented experience in the field.  </li><li>Experience in commercial, strategy, M&amp;A or similar related fields, either from the renewables sector, or e.g., from management consulting or investment banks  </li><li>Demonstrated commercial understanding, insight into project economics, valuation, and key value drivers  </li><li>Strong communicator with the ability to engage the organisation and collaborate well with stakeholders from different business areas and functions both internally and externally  </li><li>Positive attitude with an ability to work on various ad hoc projects concurrently </li><li>Knowledge and interest for renewable energy and the power industry </li><li>Fluency in English.
