This role is part of the People & Organisation (P&O) Shared Services department. Within Shared Services, we streamline operations by managing HR systems, optimising data processes, and ensuring compliance with policies.

 

We place a strong emphasis on high-quality data, compile data and generate reports related to key HR metrics. We identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardisation to enhance service delivery and user experience in our systems. We also ensure company HR policies and procedures are communicated effectively, implemented consistently, and compliant with relevant employment laws and regulations. 

 

We are now extending our capabilities by providing operational HR support to both managers and employees. Our commitment extends to assisting the P&O organisation with HR policies, legislation, and agreements. Furthermore, we are working towards strengthening administrative and operational support for our team of P&O Business Partners.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an individual with extensive HR expertise and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a broad spectrum of tasks. The ideal candidate will exhibit a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, systems and possess a sound knowledge of legislation and agreements. If you bring specialised competence or hands-on experience in specific HR areas, such as recruitment, sick leave, compensation & benefits, or others, we encourage you to highlight these in your application. Your unique skills and experiences will be essential to our teams success.

 

In this role you will collaborate closely with P&O Business Partners and other P&O departments and provide support to managers in operational tasks and people processes. Your role will involve actively contributing to the development and improvement of HR processes, systems, and policies, offering guidance on legislation and agreements, and analysing and utilising HR data. 

 

Typical work tasks can be: 

• Operational HR support:
  • Provide operational HR support to both managers and employees, addressing day-to-day HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with P&O Business Partners and other P&O departments, offering support in operational tasks and people processes.
• Streamlining HR Systems and data processes:
  • Manage and optimise HR systems within the Shared Services department to ensure streamlined operations.
  • Focus on optimising data processes, with a high emphasis on maintaining data quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance and policy adherence:
  • Ensure adherence to policies and regulations, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to development of HR policies, providing guidance on legislation and agreements.
• Preparing for the future:
  • Contribute to the reinforcement of the team, ensuring preparedness for upcoming changes in the organization's scope and deliveries.

 

Skills and qualifications: 

• University degree within HR or similar.
• Minimum 8 years experience within HR
• HR systems and process experience
• Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
