The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation and Alignments is responsible for day to day sales Incentive Compensation operations for US Animal Health.  The Senior Analyst works closely with the Alignment Lead within the team and cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Commercial Excellence, IT, and HR.  The role will lead analytics for customer and brand transaction validations across Species for Incentive Compensation crediting purposes.  Additionally, the individual will support and contribute to the administration of Sales Incentive Compensation plans: daily reporting governance, payout validations, goal creation, presentations, plan document creations, analytics to support IC plan design health checks, ad hoc projects, and other standard incentive cycle responsibilities aligned to the operational calendars and guidelines.  The role will act as a floor leader and interpret technical issues into business speak, business requirements into technical requirements to help provide clarity to management on current issues, and proposed solutions.  The individual will be expected to identify potential cross team process opportunities which will increase efficiencies and accuracy across the business. The individual will be responsible for both written and verbal communications to the business which will be customized to the recipient.      

 

 

This role is based in our Duluth, GA Office 

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy/Analysis 

  • Independently execute all IC reports within the defined processing guidelines.
  • Provides understanding of systems and business data to management via support of technically advanced or escalated ad-hoc requests. 
  • Designs sophisticated queries, builds technically advanced reports, and influencing the design scope for automated reports. 
  • Validate completion and accuracy of information provided on fulfilled requests by team members.
  • Encouraging team members to investigate potential enhancements to provide higher quality reporting deliverables.
  • Initiate projects to forensically investigate root causes of poor data quality, lead solution implementation and provide status updates of progress to team members, management and business stakeholders. 

 

Internal Control & Audit / INTEGRITY, DELIVERY & PROTECT

  • Ensures adherence to risk control checklists, provides coordination and assistance for audits as they are performed. 
  • Lead testing for Incentive Compensation platforms including new enhancements and regression testing (CompMAx/SalesIQ).
  • Conduct strategy testing, including set up, filters, components, verify all calculations and special conditions. 
  • Support process audit activities as defined by supervisor. 
  • Be a role model for the department when adhering to guidelines and compliance principles.

 

Continuous Improvement / DELIVER & SEEK

  • Lead review for root cause analysis for issues that arise within the full end-to-end process from goals and achievements to payment execution.
  • Understands business rules established and their implications on payout eligibility, awards, and downstream processes.
  • Provide input on opportunities to improve current processes and procedures.   
  • Follow approved processes for updating system changes.  
  • Communicate proactively when issues arise that may affect the desired output of systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Customer Support

  • Provides guidance to coach fellow team members tasked with resolving customer issues and ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Provides Incentive Compensation inquiries with a high level of service excellence within a timely manner.
  • Provides Incentive Comp information support and customer service within a timely manner. 
  • Build business relationships to pro-actively identify potential issues that may impact customers before issues are identified by customers, improves technical expertise, and utilizes available resources in a rapidly-changing business and systems environment.
