Job Description
As a member of the Global Field Executive Communications team, you will split your time between directly supporting our Industries leader and other project-based communication across Industries, Partners and Go-to-Market (IPG) organization. Industries is a visible, exciting and dynamic area of our business and needs a strategic communication partner and advocate, building relationships across the company that help drive awareness and engagement. IPG covers all pre-sales function in our Global Field, and the leaders require varied support with external and major internal communications.
As a key extended member of the IPG team, and part of the broader Global Field Executive Comms team, your role requires building strategic communications plans, executing brilliantly, and collaborating transparently. You will write audience-focused and leadership-voiced internal and external communications, play a major role in event messaging and strategy, support the creation of creative, and drive a social plan. The role requires stellar project and stakeholder management. Never a dull moment, and no task too big or too small.
What your days look like:
Supporting communications for the Industries leader – Half of your time will be spent on both internal and external communications for the Industries team, including organizational announcements, new products and initiatives, and live events that drive energy and passion through the business. You will be key to executing a communications and engagement strategy that includes messaging decks, newsletters, scripts, visual narratives, social content, and thought leadership.
Supporting communications needs across IPG – Half of your time will be spent working with other leaders in IPG on various needs such as external engagements, large cross-business initiatives, or quarterly communications.
Project and editorial calendar management - You will need to be organized and dynamic to meet needs that arise: things move fast at ServiceNow. This is also about setting the standard on how comms can and should be managed, because our work is visible. This role needs an energetic and creative approach to keeping an ear to the ground, understanding what’s happening and tracking what’s been said where, when, and to whom.

Who you’ll work with:
This work is a dynamic mix of two worlds - the business side, within IPG, and the comms side, in the Executive Communications team within Global Communications. You are an advocate and marketer for Industries and IPG within Communications, and an advocate and marketer for the power of comms within IPG. You will meet, talk, brainstorm, and work with people at every level of the organization, so a level head in conversations and careful discretion are key.

Qualifications
10+ years internal and/or external communications experience and/or education (experience in the technology sector and large sales/go-to-market organizations is a plus).
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, confidence to develop and present ideas. Stellar PowerPoint skills are a must!
