Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Community Outreach Strategist to strengthen our brand presence, manage partnerships, and deepen community relationships. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of strategic planning, event execution, and grassroots community building. The strategist will play a key role in elevating Witherite Law Group’s mission across multiple platforms and markets.

Key Responsibilities: 

Community Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated community initiatives, programs and events that align with firm goals, target demographics, and community impact objectives
  • Collaborate with internal creative, legal, and operations teams to maintain brand consistency across all materials and platforms
  • Analyze partnership performance and deliver actionable insights using KPIs and ROI metrics

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic community partnerships (e.g., nonprofits, schools, local organizations)
  • Plan and manage sponsorship activations, outreach events, and educational programs that enhance the firm’s presence in key markets
  • Represent Witherite Law Group at community events, fostering trust and visibility
  • Develop strategies to support underserved communities while aligning with the firm’s mission

Brand Advocacy & Reputation Management

  • Contribute to the firm's community-focused thought leadership and PR initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the firm and the public, reinforcing the firm’s reputation as a trusted advocate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, non profit or public affairs (legal or service-based industry preferred).
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and managing community initiatives.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp, Canva, HubSpot).
  • Passion for social impact, community building, and client advocacy.
  • Ability to travel locally for events and activations.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.   
  • Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.  
  • Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.  May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
  • Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.  
  • Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs. 
  • Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
