About the role
This position will require you to be in the Greater Cleveland, OH Area
We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH
The Account Manager's responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with a variety of content partners. This includes developing new accounts, delivering a target number of new accounts and/or business objective conclusions, maintaining contact with assigned accounts to ensure content flow, and contributing to business model development.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain acquisitions databases and update rights management systems with new and amended licensing terms.
- Assist with contract amendments, rights updates, and review new title avails for potential acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain strong partner relationships through consistent, tailored communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Support sales objectives by identifying new prospects and managing small partner accounts.
- Negotiate, sustain, and renew partner contracts; resolve issues and recommend solutions to increase sales.
- Coordinate and conduct account meetings under supervision; provide support and service to partners across communication channels.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and contribute to the creation of team resources and documentation.
- Prepare internal reports on account and market activities; track work progress through regular updates.
- Stay informed on film industry trends and developments through relevant publications and resources.
- Make improvement suggestions for systems, processes, and overall department operations while developing expertise in content areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (partner service, account management, communications, sales).
- Strong communication with partners, vendors, and staff.
- Confident, professional, and team-oriented approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Inquisitive with problem-solving skills.
- Basic film industry knowledge.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
