The Role at a Glance

As a Sr. Analyst, Underwriting Release Management, you will provide subject matter expertise and lead complex projects/initiatives to support UW optimization.  You will be responsible for all aspects of planning, testing and ensuring organizational readiness for UW system and tool deployments.  You will also oversee and resolve critical user production issues across our suite of UW systems and tools.

What you'll be doing

  • Defines operating model for planning, testing and production activities associated with UW system and tool releases. 
  • Ensures the successful deployment of each UW system and tool release to a live production environment through thorough testing and issue resolution.  
  • Determines release approach, including scope, schedule, deliverables, and roll back plan, appropriately considering stakeholder impact.
  • Schedules and facilitates release planning, including leading production readiness meetings for more complex releases and securing approval from business stakeholders to continue with production deployment.
  • Reviews and addresses ongoing production issues and enhancement requests reported by users.  
  • Identifies and implements process and system improvements that improve efficiency and leads key projects.
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 5 – 7+ Years of experience in User Acceptance Testing, software testing, business analysis, or other applicable validation experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
  • High proficiency with underwriting systems, tools and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.  
  • Possesses outstanding communication and critical thinking skills, with a collaborative style
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment of change and effectively manage multiple priorities 
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

The pay range for this position is $90,300 - $164,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
