The Team:

The Data Lake team is responsible for ETL and data ingestion from internal source systems in batch/real-time modes, curation and governance of the data assets created in the platform. The team focusses majorly on the Integration projects and deliver the time sensitive information.  The team has a broad and expert knowledge on Ratings organization’s critical data domains, technology stacks and architectural patterns, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration that results in a unified strategy.  

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Design and develop ETLs in Informatica Power Center from various sources to Oracle data warehouse.
• Perform advanced ETL development activities using Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle Database tuning, SQL tuning.
• Provide data analysis to support new project definition/design to troubleshoot/resolve issues with existing subject areas.
• Design data solutions on Databricks including delta lake, data warehouse, data marts and other data solutions to support the analytics needs of the organization.
• Apply best practices during design in data modeling (logical, physical) and ETL pipelines (streaming and batch) using cloud-based services.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80109 to $160600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.  This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• (BE, MCA or MS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology 
• 6+ years of experience in Informatica Power Center (ETL), Oracle SQL and PLSQL.
• 3+ years of experience in data transformation and analysis with one or more of Scala, Python, Spark and related libraries and Databricks.

• Strong foundational understanding on data models and query languages. 
• Unix shell scripting is mandatory to execute the Informatica workflows.
• Experience in continuous delivery through CI/CD.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services industry experience is an added advantage. 
• Databricks experience or certifications is an added advantage. 
• AWS or any public cloud certification is an added advantage
