POSITION TITLE:  

• Embedded Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Layer 0

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSABILITIES:  

• The candidate will work in a multi-national\cultural environment, part of a cross-functional Scrum team that delivers high quality Infinera advanced optical networks  

• The QA Engineer will work in the Product RD lifecycle: 

• Reviewing Product Specifications 

• Developing Test Plans, creating HW\cloud-based test scenarios 

• Executing test specifications and documenting results 

• Test automation initiatives based in Python 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

Profile:  

• MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or related field  

• Fluent in English, spoken and written 

• ISTQB certification is valuable 

Technical skills:  

• DWDM/OTN/IP/Packet technologies and fundamentals of Optical Transmission  

• Previous experience in SW testing, Test Automation or Telecom is highly valued  

Personal Attributes:  

• Responsible and accountable  

• Good communication skills including ability to share knowledge  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
