Job Description

The Corporate Strategy Associate will join an organization that drives the strategic direction and operational execution for the company.  As an associate, you will take on challenging projects and solve complex problems that impact the company’s future direction, with guidance / training, mentoring, and coaching from leaders within the organization.  You will gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, and then synthesize and present recommendations to senior leaders.  You may get involved with implementation of your recommendations.   

Qualifications

Required skills 

• Strong strategic and conceptual thinking 

• Ability to break down and solve problems with analysis and data 

• Structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving and comfort with ambiguity 

• Data-driven analytics to draw insights by understanding key drivers and what matters most 

• Strong interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills 

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to arrive at the best answer and develop working relationships with people at all levels, who may have competing priorities and viewpoints 

• Self-awareness and adaptability in a dynamic environment 

Qualifications 

• Advanced graduate degree graduating in 2023 (MBA, PhD) 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM discipline from a top tier university 

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in: 

• Management consulting or investment banking 

• Strategy, corporate development, engineering, or operations in the high technology industry
